Outpatient cardiac rehabilitation(OPCR) is a program that consists of monitored exercise and education. It will help you to successfully recover as well as support you in making changes to help reduce the chance of future cardiac events.

You will meet with the cardiac rehab staff 2-3 times per week for approximately 12 weeks.

Medicare and most insurance companies will cover all or a portion of the cost for the following diagnoses:

  • Heart attack (within the past year)
  • CABG – coronary artery bypass surgery (within the past 3 months)
  • Heart valve repair or replacement (within the past 3 months)
  • Coronary stent (within the past 3 months)
  • Coronary PTCA (within the past 3 months)
  • Heart transplant (within the past 3 months)

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a comprehensive therapeutic program aimed at individuals with lung disease to achieve their maximum, level of independence. This is obtained through supervised exercise sessions with monitoring and education provided by a trained team of professionals. The program is individually tailored based on medical necessity and is six to twelve weeks with sessions two to three times a week. Benefits of Pulmonary Rehabilitation:
